That conversation covers the drive, photo time, walking and what to expect at the location. It is a chance to decide whether this experience feels right for you both.

The road is part of the adventure. If bumpy driving or heights would make it hard for you to relax, tell me during planning. Preparing for portraits in the red rocks

Bring shoes with good traction, even if you plan to change into another pair for photographs. Wear clothes you can move in, and keep any extra items simple to carry. We will talk about the season and timing as part of your session plan so you can arrive prepared.

Once we are photographing, I provide relaxed direction to help you feel comfortable. There is room to move, take in the view and enjoy the experience together. You do not need to arrive with a list of poses or know what to do in front of the camera.
