Up to 15 people total–including the two of you and any children–are included with your elopement experience. I photograph larger wedding ceremonies at established venues and you still have the option to head to the red rocks for couples portraits!
how many guests can we bring?
Most couples tell me this before we start! I'll give you clear direction, keep things moving, and help you settle into the experience without forcing you into stiff poses. You don't need to practice or know what to do. Just show up ready to enjoy each other.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
Not at all! Some of my favorite red rock locations are only a short walk from the parking area. I'll help you choose a spot that fits your comfort level, mobility needs, guest count, and the kind of views you love. If you want a bigger adventure, Merry-Go-Round Rock is always an amazing option.
Do we need to be experienced hikers?
Frequently asked questions
Ceremony setups aren't allowed on Forest Service land, which includes many of Sedona's trails and red rock locations. That means no arches, chairs, rugs, tables, or ground floral installations. You can absolutely carry a personal bouquet, exchange rings, include meaningful details, and let the landscape be the backdrop.
can we bring an arch or ceremony decorations?
Absolutely. All couples are welcome and celebrated here. You deserve to feel comfortable, respected, and fully yourself throughout the entire experience. I photograph people of all identities, orientations, body types, and expressions of love with the same care and excitement.
